Saturday—our Community Outreach Day—will feature opportunities for the whole family to learn about babywearing and have fun together!
Babywearing Workshops
Parents will learn about the benefits and joys of babywearing, and try different styles of carriers to find what works best for them. Free workshops open to the public (afternoon sessions) will introduce beginners to the various types of carriers and provide expert support in learning to use them. And our “Babywearing Men” and “Babywearing on a Budget” workshops will make babywearing accessible to even more people!
Family Activities
Music, arts and crafts, movement, and other fun activities will be available for children. All ages are welcome at Saturday programming—babies and toddlers can have fun riding in their parents’ new carriers!
Exhibit Hall
The exhibit hall will be open all day to conference attendees, and free to the public during the afternoon beginning babywearing workshops (12:00-5:00 PM). The latest styles of carriers—as well as many other baby and family products and services—will be available for browsing and shopping. See our list of exhibitors here.
